Alfa Romeo 8C2900 Mille Miglia

Created in the ’30s with engineering by legendary Vittorio Jano and glorious bodywork created by Carrozzeria Touring, “8C” refers to the eight cylinders of the supercharged 2.9-litre straight-8 engine. Mr Lauren’s personal 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 Mille Miglia – one of only four ever built – finished second in the Mille Miglia 1938 and was judged “Best in Class” at the 2005 Pebble Beach Concours. Mr Lauren’s car has undergone a detailed scan to produce this exact replica, which is hand-constructed by the British company Amalgam.
